What we can work on.
Your written proposal identifies the actual setup, accounts and functions involved. The starting process is:
Review the requirements
Identify the platform, storage, features and access the website needs. Compare suitable provider options within your agreed budget.
Configure the agreed setup
Help with the hosting account, deployment and HTTPS configuration where supported. Provider fees are paid separately through your account.
Check the launch
Check the agreed public pages, inquiry route and domain connection, then document where the site is hosted and how renewals are handled.
Scope and separate costs.
Domain registration, hosting plans, paid tools and provider subscriptions are separate costs. Custom server administration, ongoing monitoring and emergency support are not part of a basic setup unless explicitly included. I do not resell an unlimited hosting bundle or promise a particular provider’s uptime.
We agree on the work, price, responsibilities and scheduling before making changes. Larger development work and recurring support are separate scopes.
Common questions.
Do you provide the hosting account?
The preferred arrangement is an account in your business’s name. I can help set it up and configure it within the agreed scope.
Is hosting included in the $39 care plan?
No. The care allowance is up to 30 minutes of agreed edits/basic checks. Provider charges and initial setup are separate.
Can you help me choose a provider?
Yes. We review the platform and maintenance needs before recommending a suitable setup.
What to send me.
Send the website URL, your current provider names, what you want to change and any timing constraints. We can clarify the requirements by email before a written proposal.
