What we can work on.
Your written proposal identifies the actual setup, accounts and functions involved. The starting process is:
Understand the accounts
Identify the registrar, DNS host, website provider and email service. Separate the responsibilities and check the access needed for the agreed task.
Configure the agreed records
Help connect the website or configure the email provider’s documented DNS records. Preserve other records unless a change is part of the scope.
Verify and document
Check the agreed website/email behavior and provide a short record of which provider manages what. Email delivery behavior depends on the provider and configuration.
Scope and separate costs.
Domain renewals, mailbox subscriptions and provider fees are separate. Recovering inaccessible accounts, domain disputes, bulk mailbox/content migration and ongoing email administration are not part of basic setup. Account ownership and transfer authorization must be established before changes.
We agree on the work, price, responsibilities and scheduling before making changes. Larger development work and recurring support are separate scopes.
Common questions.
Can I get an address like hello@mybusiness.com?
Yes, with a suitable business email provider and domain. I can help with the agreed account and DNS setup; mailbox subscriptions are separate.
Can you move my old emails?
Mailbox migration needs its own review and scope. Connecting an address is different from copying historical email and attachments.
Will changing hosting break my email?
The migration plan should identify and preserve the existing email records. Website and email services may be hosted by different providers.
What to send me.
Send the website URL, your current provider names, what you want to change and any timing constraints. We can clarify the requirements by email before a written proposal.
